摘　　要：基于多变量VAR模型,运用1978~2008年中部地区的时间序列数据,对公共支出结构与经济增长之间的关系进行了实证分析。研究结果显示,中部地区地方政府的经济建设性支出与维护性支出对经济增长产生了负面影响,而社会文教科卫费用支出则能明显促进地区经济增长,这说明,通过优化公共支出结构和加强支出项目管理能加快中部地区长期的经济增长。Using the multivariable VAR model,this paper empirially investigates into the relationship between composition of public expenditure and economic growth based on Time series data from 1978 to 2008 in central China,the research shows constructive and maintenance expenditure have a negative impact on economic growth.Social cultural、science and health expenses can significantly promote regionial economic growth.This illustrats that public expenditure could speed up long-term economic growth by optimizing the structure of public expenditure and strengthen expenditure management.
