摘　　要：简要回顾了中国地质科学近 5 0年来的发展历程 ,概要总结了半个世纪以来 ,特别是近 10年来中国地质学界所取得的主要成就。指出当代地质科学研究的时代特征着重反映在跨洋陆研究、跨圈层研究、大跨度学科交叉研究、高新技术的引入和渗透以及大规模的国际合作等方面。在此基础上 ,建议 2 1世纪我国的地质科学研究应着重于基础地质学研究 ,加强国际合作 ,注重学科的交叉渗透和高新技术的投入。The development history of China geology in almost 50 years is reviewed briefly and main achievements are summarized which are obtained by China geologists in the past half century, in particular in the recent 10 years It is pointed out that the modern geology is characterized by cross studying of trans continents and sphere, high tech introduction and penetration and large scale international cooperation On the basis above, it is recommended that scientific research of China geology be emphasized on basic geoscience and other associated tasks
