摘　　要：将强耦合椭圆芯光纤定向耦合器的耦合区波导视作一矩形波导的微扰,到出其传播常数公式及场的幅度耦合波方面,从而给出耦合器的偏振特性。In an elliptical corefiber directional coup-ler with stroug coupling, we consider the waveguide of coupling region as a perturbed form of rectangular wave-guide, obtaining the propagation constant formula and coupled-modeequation of eigen-mode amplitude. Then the polarization characteristic of the coupler is give.
