清末兴建京汉铁路筹款期间法国的幕后操作  

France' Manipulation behind the Scenes during Fundraising for Jing-Han Railroad in Late Qing Dynasty

摘　　要：在清末兴建京汉铁路筹借外款的过程中,清政府为维护铁路主权,对英美法德等大国心存戒心,选择了与小国比利时合作,最终与其达成筑路借款合同。法国在遭到拒绝后大举策划幕后活动,最终获得了让与修建中国第一条干线铁路的特权,成为事实上控股2/3的最大债权人,而这正是张之洞、盛宣怀最不愿意接受的事实。To safeguard the railway dominion,the Qing government chose to collaborate with Belgium,instead of with France,the UK or the U.S.A.during its fundraising for the Jing-Han Railroad in the late Qing Dynasty.France,however,did not quit,but managed to seize privileges and turned out to be the railroad＇s No.1 creditor.This was the fact that Zhang Zhidong and Sheng Xuanhuai on behalf of the Qing Government were averse to accept.This article explores France＇s manipulation behind the scene.
