摘　　要：论述了浇注连铸厚板钢种板坯容易出现的质量缺陷，The paper takes up the faults in quality easily caused when thick steel slab is produced using concasting method, and the inevitability of using soft reduction technology to solve the problems.The paper also presents the main characteristics of the special segments in secondary cooling zone when soft reduction technology is taken.
