摘　　要：目的探讨表现为面侧深区疼痛的茎突综合征患者的特点及治疗方法。方法回顾性分析表现为面侧深区疼痛的18例茎突综合征患者,分析其临床资料及治疗方法。结果所有患者均在全麻下经口内径路行过长茎突截断术,术后14例(78%)患者面侧深区疼痛症状完全缓解,2例(11%)明显好转,2例无明显改善,总有效率89%(16/18)。结论茎突综合征是引起面侧深区疼痛的一个病因,容易漏诊和误诊,手术切除过长茎突是有效的治疗方法。Objective To investigate the clinical character and treatment methods of styloid process syndrome with the manifestation of pain in the deep region of lateral face.Methods It were retrospectively analyzed the clinical protocols and treatment methods for 18 cases with styloid process syndrome with the manifestation of pain in the deep region of lateral face.Results After excising the elongated styloid process by intraoral approach,the clinical symptoms of 14 cases（78%） were completely relieved and 2 cases（11%） obviously relieved,and the total effective rate was 89%（16/18）.Conclusions Styloid process syndrome is a factor resulting in pain in the deep region of lateral face which easily misses diagnosis or is misdiagnosis,and can be effectively treated by excising the elongated styloid process.
