摘　　要：随着时代进步和社会发展,成人学位英语考试已凸显一些弊端,改革势在必行。因此,为实现考试目的、促进成人英语教学发展,有必要从考试内容、考试方法和考试评价几方面进行改革,创建一个以试题库为基础,在适当的时间和地点为考生提供包含听说读写译在内的、以测试英语应用能力为主的计算机考试。With the development of times and society,some shortcomings have become clear in English examination for academic degree,which is imperative to be reformed.To achieve the purpose of examination and promote the development of adult English language teaching,it is necessary to reform from the following aspects： test content,test method and test evaluation;and a computer-based examination which based on item bank to test English proficiency（including listening skills,speaking skills,reading skills,writing skills and translation skills）of candidates should be created at the proper time and place.
