摘　　要：在较小截面的连铸灰铸铁型材表层，观察到具有球状石墨的金相组织；经过试验证明，在一定冷却条件下，未经处理过的灰口铁液也可能析出球状石墨。认为这种现象是石墨生长受扩散控制的结果。Spheroidal graphite can be observed in the region approaching surface of the smaller section size gray iron bars by continuous cast The experiment shows that spharical graphite may crystallize in commercial gray cast iron with suitable chemical composition under certain cooling rate This phenomenon can be explained by the mechanism of diffusion controlled growth of graphite
