摘　　要：弗雷德里克森教授在《公共行政的精神》一书中所倡导的高公民精神和公民德行等理念是共和主义的核心价值之一,特别是与古典共和主义有着异曲同工之妙,是共和主义核心价值与理念在公共行政领域的反映,与20世纪下半叶"共和主义",特别是"古典共和主义"传统在政治思想领域的复兴存在着某种必然的偶合性联系。公民德行复兴的本质是道德重新回归政治,是当代国家持续发展的必然选择。The concepts of high citizenship and virtuous citizen which are advocated by H. George Frederickson in his book The Spirit of Public Administration are the main values of republicanism, especially classical republicanism. In our paper, we discover there is a rela- tionship between the concepts and classical republicanism. This relationship is one of the reflections of classical republicanism in public administration. The essence of the renaissance of high citizenship and virtuous citizen is the return of morality to politics, which is an imperative choice for the development of modern nation.
