中、美主流媒体对马克南在中国新疆秘密活动的报道对比分析——以《人民日报》、《纽约时报》为例

摘　　要：新中国成立前夕,以美国驻中国迪化领事馆副领事身份为掩护的中情局特务马克南在中国新疆从事一系列秘密情报活动,包括勾结地方匪首乌斯满等搜集中国边疆区情报,策动反共活动等。对此,《人民日报》为代表的中国主流媒体及时予以揭露,但以《纽约时报》为代表的美国主流媒体则极力掩盖事实真相,并反诬中国政府在制造所谓的美国特务案例。历史不容篡改,美国政府解密的国家档案以及中情局网站在60年后的今天为我们还原了马克南在中国边疆区所从事的秘密情报活动历史真相,从而让我们对中美主流媒体的新闻报道有了更加清晰的认识。Douglas S. Mackierman, a CIA officer, conducted espionage activities in Xinjiang under the disguise of a Vice Consul at the Consulate in Urumqi before the founding of the People＇s Republic of China. When People＇s Daily exposed the espionage activities of Mackierman at the time, the U. S. mainstream media New York times said that the Chinese communists created a mew American spy case. The declassified documents and the CIA website now told us that the truth is Mackierman did conduct espionage activities in Xinjiang. From this case people may know more about the nature of the U. S. mainstream media.
