摘　　要：对中国各地区经济发展环境进行客观评价是实现科学发展的客观要求。经济发展环境评价指标体系由自然环境、社会环境、人口环境和经济环境四个方面的17个具体指标构成,采用主成分分析评价方法对中国各地区1998年和2008年两个年度的经济发展环境进行了实证综合评价,结果表明各地区经济发展环境具有趋同现象。An objective evaluation of the economic development environment in various regions of China is an objective requirement to put into effect scientific development.The indicator system for evaluating the economic development environment is composed of 17 actual indicators in four aspects,that is,natural environment,social environment,population environment,and economic environment.The paper makes an empirical comprehensive evaluation of the economic development environment in various regions of China in 1998 and 2008 by using the principal component evaluation method,the results showing that the economic development environment in various regions has a convergence phenomenon.
