摘　　要：刑事和解作为一种解决刑事案件、恢复被破坏社会秩序的崭新的方式,其核心价值就是体现公平正义、效率谦抑,这充分体现了和谐社会的根本内涵。Hu Jintao,the General Secretary of CPC,has pointed out that socialist harmonious society is democratic and law-ruled,fair and just,credit and friendly,vital and peace,and harmony between man and nature.Victim-offender mediation is a new way to resolve criminal cases and restore stable and peace social order,whose core value is to demonstrate fairness and justice,which is the core connotation of harmonious society.
