摘　　要：作为清朝重要的文学家,徐子苓的生平却鲜为人知。关于其生平的记述,或语焉不详,或讹误甚多,故考述其生平显得尤其迫切与紧要。同时,作为清代桐城派的嫡传,徐子苓在文学上亦颇有成就。其散文取材广泛,文风纵横超轶,长于叙事而又不拘一格;其诗学杜,诗风鸷悍,内容则多取材于现实生活,后世对其诗评价很高。Xu Ziling,an important litterateur in the Qing Dynasty,is unknown to many people.The textual research of his career is very important,which was once little written about or even mistaken.Meanwhile,as a member of Tong Cheng School,Xu Ziling had got great achievement in Chinese literature.His essays and poems,different from others＇,had their own characteristics,whose contents mostly reflected social realities,which is also popular in Chinese literature.
