摘　　要：通过美国建筑历史遗产保护中的重要事件与项目的梳理,归纳美国建筑历史遗产保护运动充满矛盾冲突与多样性的发展轨迹,分析公众参与在其中所起的重要作用,并探讨目前美国社会广泛认同的建筑历史遗产保护观念。指出历史建筑可以为民众提高生活内在品质,这些建筑与其建造工艺不仅代表了历史的工艺水平,蕴含了历史遗产宝贵的品质,也是对今天技术品质的见证。Through study on the important events and projects of the historic architecture heritage conservation in the United States,this paper generalizes the development path full of conflict and diversity.It analyzes the important role,which public participation has played and the belief of conservation for historic architecture heritage,which is widely acknowledged in American society.It points out historic architecture could enhance the quality of life for all.Not only do these buildings with the workmanship represent the achievements with high attainments in the past,but also bear witness to the quality of today.
