[Objective]To investigate the relation between the changes in blood lipids and vascular complications in patients with diabetes.[Methods]Detected the levels of blood glucose(GLU),cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C)in 89 cases of diabetics who were in line with WHO standards with Hitachi model H7600-automatic biochemical analyzer, and carried out case-control analysis.[Results]The levels of CH,TG,LDL-C were significantly higher in the diabetic group than the control group(P﹤0.05),while the levels of HDL-C were significantly lower than the control group(P﹤0.05);In the diabetic group, the levels of CH,TG,LDL-C were significantly higher in vascular complications than those who were without vascular complications(P﹤0.05);HDL-C contents were significantly lower(P﹤0.05).[Conclusion]The levels of CH,TG,LDL-C elevate,HDL reduces in diabetics, suggesting that controlling high blood sugar and hyperlipemia can help to prevent and delay the occurrence and development of diabetic vascular disease.
