摘　　要：部主任在高校图书馆科研工作中发挥着重要的作用,这既是我国高校图书馆的学术性所决定的,也是信息时代对部主任提出的新要求。在介绍部主任在科研工作中所能发挥作用的基础上,阐述了部主任从事科研工作应具备的素质。The department directors of university library play a very important role in scientific research,which is not only determined by the academic nature of university library but also required by the information era.Based on introducing the functions of the department directors in scientific research,this paper expounds the qualities that the department directors should possess in carrying out the scientific research.
