摘　　要：2010年中央从深入实施西部大开发战略和维护边疆地区的长治久安出发,先后做出了在我国新疆喀什和霍尔果斯、内蒙古满洲里、云南瑞丽、广西东兴设立经济特区的重大决策。在我国沿边地区举办经济特区,具有自身的优势和条件,同时具有特殊性和挑战性,需要赋予更加特殊的政策和体制。本文就此进行探讨并提出政策建议。Under the new historic condition,the central committee to further deepen the reform,the expansion to open and accelerating the development of West China,the Central Government made the important decisions about the setting up of special economic zones in the border regions.The Special Economic Development Zones,or the Key Experimental Areas of Development and Opening Up belong to large-scale comprehensive special economic zones which have the characteristics of multifunction and large area,once completes should have the big influence and the radiating power.There are specific superiority and conditions of setting up special economic zones in the border areas of our country,simultaneously has the particularity and a bigger challenging,needs to entrust with a more special policy and the system.
