摘 要:在过去的几十年里,阅读研究的重点逐渐从阅读的结果转向阅读过程本身。对篇章加工过程的研究逐渐成为认知科学研究领域的热点。通过定性的分析,探讨二语读者英语阅读过程中篇章处理方法在本质上的差异,以期对中国英语学习者的学习和研究提供现实指导意义。In recent years, researchers have been paying more and more attention to the understanding of the process of reading. Research into inferences in text processing has gradually become a center of interest in cognitive science. Much evidence in previous studies has suggested that EFL readers' effectvie text processing strategies will facilitate the establishment of a global mental coherence. The present study probes into the qualitative analysis of Chinese EFL readers' reading comprehension process, finding that there existed some differences in the nature of bridging inferences in relation to the main effects of language proficiency and topic familiarity.
