摘 要:针对甚高频(VHF)云闪时差法雷电定位同源脉冲匹配难点,提出了用FPGA实现相关性判断的同源脉冲算法设计思路。为提升系统性能、适应云闪甚高频信号的处理需求,采用了改进的算法并用实测数据在MATLAB、FPGA上对算法进行验证,设计完成了云闪波形同源脉冲匹配算法在FPGA上的实现。系统通过了Modelsim的仿真验证并在DE2平台上完成了硬件测试。设计共消耗了3 499个逻辑单元,最高处理速度可达98.07 MHz,满足了实际应用的要求。How to determine homologous pulses is a key point of detecting VHF (Very High Frequency) cloud-to-cloud lightning when using Time-Of-Arrival(TOA) location method. In this paper, an idea that implementing correlation algorithm to determine homologous pulses on FPGA is proposed. An improved algorithm to enhance system performance is used to fit the demand for very high frequency signal processing of cloud-to-cloud lightning. The measured data is captured and used to verify the algorithm by MATLAB and FPGA. The design has been tested on DE2 hardware platform after the Modelsim simulation. 3499 logic cells are used and the maximum processing speed is up to 98.07 MHz, which could meet the requirements of cloud-to-cloud lightning detection.
