摘　　要：一词多义是一种普遍存在的重要语言现象,语言学者从各个角度对其进行研究。认知语言学认为,多义的介词具有多义的语义网络,多义的语义网络建立在多维的认知模式上。认知模式的建立是认知介词的首选途径。简单介词语义网络繁复,复合介词尤甚。文章以认知语言学的基本理论为依据,旨在深入探讨介词,并以复合方式构词而成的介词within为例,探讨其多义聚合关系的认知构建的可能性。As an important and pervasive semantic phenomenon in all languages,polysemy has attracted much attention of linguists working in various branches of linguistics.In cognitive linguistics,cognitive models constitute semantic network.Therefore,the construction of semantic network of preposition is based on the cognitive models.The semantic network of simple preposition is complicated,so the semantic network of compound preposition is more complex.The central purpose of this essay is to fill in the gaps of polysemic semantic network study from the perspective of cognitive models theory and make certain contributions to the study of preposition,especially the compound preposition.This essay chooses a compound preposition within as case study to make a cognitive semantic network study on the semantic motivation of its sense formation and extension.
