摘　　要：中国是茶的发源地,有着悠久的饮茶历史,茶文化是中国传统优秀文化的重要组成部分。在查阅相关文献基础上,对茶为国饮的内涵和意义做了一定的探讨,通过论述茶的经济、文化和社会作用,把饮茶的意义与人的发展相结合;把中国茶文化的精髓与当前构建社会主义和谐社会相结合,倡导全社会形成爱茶、懂茶、饮茶的良好氛围。China is the birthplace of tea and has a long history of tea drinking. The tea culture is the important component of Chinese traditional outstanding culture. On the bases of literature research, this paper discusses the content and meaning of national tea drinking, and from the roles of tea playing in economy, society and culture, this paper mentions that we can link up the meaning of tea drinking with personal development, also we can combine the essence of Chinese tea culture with current harmonious society building, so that we can advocate the entire society to form the good atmosphere of liking the tea, understanding the tea and drinking tea.
