摘　　要：论述设计技术发展的 ５ 个阶段。根据产品全寿命的观点， 提出构成机械工程学的 ３ 个主要学科体系。从学科角度分析先进设计技术的概念。强调采用先进设计技术是增强我国企业自主开发能力的关键。为了强化先进设计技术， 学术界应该确立机械设计工程学的学科地位， 教育界需要实现“工程科学教育”模式， 企业界必须加快壮大设计力量的步伐， 管理界应当从政策上积极引导。The five development stages of the design techniques are expounded. In according with viewpoint of total life of products,three central branches of mechanical engineering are presented. The concepts of advanced design techniques are analyzed. Emphasis is placed on that adopt advanced design techniques is the key to strengthen developing ability of enterprise on one's own initiative in China. In order to strengthen advanced design techniques,academic circles should establish the science position of mechanical design engineering , education circles need to achieve a system of “engineering science education”,enterprise circles must speed its steps expanding design forces,and management circles ought to guide enthusiastically in policy.
