摘　　要：对悲剧的描写一直都在西方文学中占据重要的地位,但是不同作家的悲剧模式却各不相同。本文以《俄狄浦斯王》和《德伯家的苔丝》两部作品为视角点,分析宿命论下的悲剧模式以及西方文学对人和命运较量这一问题的思考。Tragedy is one of the most important literary forms in the Western literature,although the model of tragedy varies from writer to writer.By comparing Oedipus,the King and Tess of the d＇Urberville,this paper intends to analyze the model of tragedy under fatalism and propose the perpetual meditation on the struggles between man and fate.
