摘　　要：陈垣作为近现代著名的史学家和教育家,不仅治学严谨、成果斐然,而且交游广阔,对同仁、后辈的鼓励和提携不遗余力。岑仲勉史学成就的取得,就有陈垣的提携之功。二人在学术上彼此倾服,相互切磋,结下了深厚友谊,共同推动了史学发展。陈、岑二人的学术交往,永远值得后辈钦佩和学习。Chen Yuan as a well-known modern historian and educator was not only a man of meticulous scholarship with impressive results but also made friends widely and spared no efforts in encouraging, guiding and promoting his colleagues and the younger generation of scholars. Cen Zhongmian's achievements could partly be attributed to the guidance and support of Chen Yuan. The two scholars admired each other academically, learned from each other and forged a profound friendship between them. They jointly promoted the development of the study of history and they are always our role models both in pursuing scholarship and friendship
