摘　　要：天然彩色棉新品系彩选１ 号和彩选２ 号均是常规棉品种与棕色棉品系的杂种后代。具有其母本的产量高、衣分高、适应性广和父本色泽稳定、结铃性好的特点。通过对天然彩色棉育种研究的分析，提出通过选择培育，不断改良和提高其农艺、纤维品质性状。Natural color cotton varieties Caixuan 1 and Caixuan 2 were derived from the offspring of the hybrid between conventional varieties and brown colored line.They were endowed from female parents with such characteristics of high yield,high lint percentage and wide adaptation.They also got characteristics of stable coloration and high boll rate from male parents.The breeding process of natural color cotton was discussed in this paper.A plan was proposed to improve the agronomic and fibric characters through selecting and breeding.It is completely possible to minimize the difference between color cotton and conventional cotton.
