摘　　要："贾瑞之死"是《红楼梦》中最早的死亡叙事之一,该故事单元在《红楼梦》中虽是"昙花一现",却具有丰厚的价值蕴涵。叙贾瑞痴迷于情欲,陷入色欲的泥淖无法自拔而走向毁灭,是为色迷心窍者诫之意,而这也正是贾府衰败的根由之一。该故事使王熙凤之心机、言辞,其残忍、毒辣等性格特点锋芒初露,也见其处事的策略与分寸。《风月宝鉴》提起了"家亡"的叙事主线,关涉到小说的色空观念,使作者诸多关于宇宙、人生的重大命题得到了互为表里的隐喻性互证。The chapter of ＂Jia Rui＇s Death＂ in the novelA Dream of Red Mansions is one of the early narratives about death.Though this chapter is just a ＂flash in the pan＂,it has rich value implications.Jia Rui＇s obsession with lust-an erotic quagmire and his doom,is not only a warning for those indulging in lust,but also one of the causes for the decline of the Jias.The story displays WANG Xi-feng＇s psychology,speech acts,cruelty and sinister characteristic.Meanwhile,it indicates her strategies for doing things.Chapter ＂Fengyue Mirror＂ is the beginning of the narrative thread of the decline of the Jias,and it concerns the concept of lust and nothingness.As a result,the author CAO Xue-qin confirmed metaphorically the theme of universe and life.
