摘　　要：众多优良的地方鸡种是中国宝贵的遗传资源,必须建立品种资源数据库进行管理。考虑到鸡种资源具有显著的分散地域特征,针对目前鸡种信息管理系统缺乏GIS显示与分析功能的现状,以MapXtreme技术为支撑开发了中国地方鸡种信息管理系统。利用地理信息技术实现鸡种资源的可视化管理,能够方便、快捷地存储、显示、查找和分析鸡种资源信息,更好地服务于中国地方鸡种保育工作。The numerous excellent indigenous chicken breeds are precious genetic resources of China,and need a database for management.Considering its decentralized distribution character,and lack of GIS（geographical information system） display and analysis in most chicken breeds information management systems,the information management system based on MapXtreme technology was developed.Geographical information technology brought visualization management of chicken breeds resource,making it convenient for users to save,display,search and analyze the chicken breeds resources.The system can server better for the conservation of indigenous chicken breeds in China.
