对科技期刊英文整体设计的思考

摘　　要：在调查部分高校学报自然科学版英文工作的基础上,对中文科技期刊的英文整体设计进行研究,提出了常规与扩展的英文工作概念,总结出常见的五种英文整体设计形式,同时分析了期刊定位与英文工作的关系、英文工作的创新发展。此外,讨论了英文工作的重点、整体设计中的英文文摘位置及目次等问题,认为应加强编辑力量,通过提高英文工作的质量和水平,不断提升学术性科技期刊的国际化水平、品牌影响力和竞争力。Based on an investigation of several university academic journals in natural edition in recent years,the overall design of English composition in Chinese scientific and technological journals is carried out.The concepts of conventional work and extensive work are put forward,and five common forms of overall design of English composition are summarized.The relationship between journal self-positioning and English work as well as innovative development of English composition is discussed.The key issue in the English work,the location of English abstracts and the arrangement of English current contents and total contents are also analyzed.It is thought that the role of editor should be strengthened,and continuous improvement of the quality and level of English composition is crucial to the promotion of international influence and competitiveness of academic scientific and technological journals.
