江苏兴化地区垛田的起源及其价值初探

摘　　要：垛田是江苏中部兴化里下河水网地区独有的一种土地利用方式与农业景观。当地人民在湖荡沼泽地带开挖网状深沟或小河的泥土堆积成垛,垛上耕作,形成垛田。本文从有关垛田的神话传说出发,依次考证了垛田的形成原因与起源时间、垛田的特点与优势。在此基础上对垛田的现状和价值作了比较深入的解读,为垛田今后的保护和开发提供借鉴。＂Duotian＂ is a unique form of land use and agricultural landscape in the water network of Lixiahe area in Xinghua Region,Central Jinangsu.In marshes or streams,local people dug deep trench networks,excavated the clay and piled them into stacks,which served as fields（Duotian） for cultivation.This article drew inspirations from the myths and legends related and examined the origin of ＂Duotian＂,their characteristics and advantages and their current status que and values in order to better protect and develop them.
