摘　　要：得天独厚的地理优势,让唐山市在发展现代港口物流方面有着与其它城市难以企及的发展空间。唐山市在发展现代港口物流业过程中,应充分发挥政府主导和推动作用,制定相关配套政策措施,加强对港口物流产业的管理,把加快发展现代港口物流业作为促进经济增长和转型升级的战略举措;根据现代物流的功能要求,对港口资源进行重新整合,建立覆盖面广、功能完善的唐山港口信息服务综合平台,实现港口信息资源共享;与国际优秀物流企业建立战略合作关系,促进唐山港口物流产业的国际化,提升唐山港口物流的技术和管理水平,打造港口物流国际品牌。The exceptional geographic advantage helps Tangshen City possess the development space unreachable for other cities in devloping modern port logistics. In the process, the government should play its leading and driving role by making related policies, increasing management on port logistics industry, and taking the rapid development of modern port logistics as a strategic measure to promote economic growth and transformation and upgrade. Based on requirements in functions of modem logistics, the comprehensive port information service platform should be established to reach resources sharing of port information with wide network coverage and perfect function through integration of port resources. Furthermore, the internationalization of Tangshan port logistics should be promoted through building strategic cooperation with excellent international logistic enterprises, and the international brand on port logistics should be created through enhancing technology and management d Tangshan port logistics.
