摘　　要：以大规模的全国地名为数据源,采用人工辅助方式提取地名通名,建立地名通名和地理要素类型之间的映射关系,并通过实例分析了地名通名和地理要素类型的交叉映射现象。This paper investigates mapping relations between generic terms of place names and geographical feature types based on a large-scale place name data.Firstly,generic terms and geographical feature types of place names are judged automatically based on human-assisting.Secondly,with a statistical method,commonly used generic terms in GB/T18521-2001 subclass and mapping relations between generic terms and geographical feature types are explored.Finally,intersecting mapping relations between generic terms of place names and geographical feature types are analyzed with two cases.This research results could be used in microtopography evolution analysis,GIS query expansion,spatial information retrieval,interpretation of place names and spatial relations in text.
