摘　　要：1919年12月5日,《字林西报》报道安庆安武军围奸安徽蚕桑女校学生,此案经上海各报转载,引起国人关注。在一片讨伐声中,倪嗣冲称此事子虚乌有。与此同时,女校师生亦通电否认。种种迹象显示这是一起谣言,但公众依然深信不疑。谣言传播过程中,公众激烈和偏执的态度,既是"尊西"、"崇西"对西方报道盲从的结果,又是对北洋军阀不满和不信任的生动注脚。The North China Daily News reported on December 5th 1919 that Anwu army in Anqing raped students and teachers in Can-sang Female School in Anhui.This news aroused many debates.Although Ni Sichong and teachers and students from the school also denied the event,the public still believed firmly that it happened.The intense and prejudiced attitudes indicated their blind obedience to the West and also their dissatisfaction and distrust toward the Northern warlords.
