摘  要:Borax/phosphorous oxychloride (BPO) efficiently catalyzes the preparation of 1,5-benzodiazepine derivatives of o-phenylenediamines and ketones in solvent-free and solution conditions. The reaction proceeds efficiently under ambient conditions giving excellent yields of the products.
