The influence on the characteristic of leftover organic compounds in the effluent was researched when mixed with the waste liquid from sludge treatment area in the influent of sewage treatment systems. It aimed to provide reference for wastewater reclamation and security reuse.By simulating the process that the waste liquid from sludge treatment area was reflowed to sequencing batch reactor(SBR) treatment system, some water quality parameters of effluent, such as COD,UV254,the distribution of molecular weight and the three-dimensional fluorescence spectrum were analyzed under the different reflux ratios. The results show that the aromaticity and unsaturation of the leftover organic compounds in the effluent were enhanced, and the proportions of the larger molecular weight organic compounds and the humus in the effluent markedly increased with an increase of reflux ratios of the waste liquid, though the COD in the effluents did not change dramatically. It resulted in complicated tendency of the effluent water quality.Consequently,it is a disadvantage to the wastewater reclaimed and health and security reuse when waste liquid from sludge treatment area was reflowed to the influent of sewage treatment systems.
