古罗马帝国军队的衰退对我军政治工作的启示

摘　　要：古罗马军队的衰退主要可以归结为3个原因：长期和平缺乏对手,导致战斗精神缺失;腐朽风气弥漫军营,引起作风纪律涣散;以利治军错误思想,使军人贪图享乐。这段历史给我军政治工作的启示：发挥教育训练的主阵地功能,大力培育官兵战斗精神;有效强化军人精神支柱,严防歪风邪气刮进军营;合理运用物质利益原则,物质奖励与精神奖励并重。There are three main reasons contributed to the decline of Ancient Rome army.To begin with,long-term peaceful situation lead to that the army lacked the awareness of combating.Meanwhile,owing to being filled with a corrupt ethos in the barrack,its discipline becomes lax.In addition,as they held a wrong idea of managing the army with benefits,the army man pursued the enjoyment excessively.All in all,this period of history brought us such enlightenments in political work：firstly,we should exert the main function of teaching and training to cultivate the fighting awareness of soldiers.Secondly,we should strengthen the spiritual support of army men to prevent the corrupt ethos spreading in the bareback.Finally,we should use the material principle in a reasonable way and lay emphasis on both of spiritual and material incentives.
