摘　　要：介绍八字门金矿床区域地质、构造背景及矿床地质特征、矿体特征,矿床属风化残积成因的红土型金矿类型,金为微细粒状,肉眼甚至一般光学显微镜中均不可见。从总结鄂南地区的金矿床分布、赋存规律入手,初步探讨了金矿床地质特征、成因及找矿标志。The paper introduces regional geology,tectonic background and geological characteristics of Bazhimen gold deposits.Weathered residual deposits are lateritic gold deposits.Gold deposits are the fine grains with the naked eyes or even ordinary optical microscopes are not visible.Starting from occurrence law and distribution of gold deposits in southern Hubei,the authors discuss the geological characteristics,genesis and prospecting criteria of gold deposits.
