摘　　要：目的:了解广州市部分门诊病人的麻风病知识水平,探索低流行状态下麻风病防治的有效途径。方法:采用自行设计的调查问卷对普通门诊病人和麻风村门诊病人进行麻风病知识、态度及行为调查。结果:接受调查者中大部分人对麻风病和麻风病人仍然存在较大程度的片面认识,恐惧和歧视的现象依然存在,麻风村门诊病人在客观认知和包容接纳方面优于所本部门诊病人。结论:低流行状态下麻风病防治工作不能放松,需多方面努力营造一个宽松的社会环境,最重要的工作环节是早期发现和治疗麻风病人。Objective：To evaluate the knowledge and attitude towards leprosy among some outpatients in Guangzhou and to explore effective approaches of controlling the transmission of leprosy. Methods：A self-designed questionnaire was used to evaluate the knowledge, attitude and behavior towards leprosy among residents attending a dermatology clinic and a leprosy clinic in Guangzhou, China. Results： Most of those surveyed have limited knowledge about leprosy, and the phenomenon of fear and discrimination against leprosy still exists. Patients from the leprosy clinic were found to have better understandings and attitudes toward leprosy compared to patients from the dermatology clinic. Conclusion：Leprosy control could not be eased under the low level of leprosy prevalence. A favourable social environment for leprosy control is needed, but the most important steps are early detection and treatment of leprosy cases.
