摘　　要：近年来,历史性城市景观(HUL)保护正成为国际遗产保护领域的关注热点。本文通过回顾历史性城市景观理念提出的过程和相关国际会议批判性探讨的要点,分析历史性城市景观的理念及其内涵。在解读UNESCO《HUL建议草案》的基础上,讨论HUL保护理念及整体性方法对我国历史文化名城保护管理规划的借鉴意义。The historic urban landscape（HUL）is a new hot-point research in the area of international heritage conservation in recent years. This paper analyzes the process of putting forward the idea of the HUL by reviewing the notion and the key points discussed critically in the related international conferences on the HUL approaches. Based on interpreting the proposal of ＂ UNESCO Recommendation on the Historic Urban Landscape＂, it discusses the HUL philosophy and the integrated approaches to the preservation and regulation for the historic and cultural cities in China.
