Preparation of Electroless Ni-P Alloy Coating on Polypropylene Plastics in Alkaline Bath at Lowered Temperature

摘  要:为了克服塑料表面酸性高温化学镀Ni-P合金工艺的局限性,研究了中低温碱性镀液中聚丙烯(PP)塑料表面化学镀Ni-P合金的工艺。采用扫描电镜(SEM)表征了镀层的表面形貌,用能谱(EDS)分析了镀层成分,用X射线衍射研究了镀层的相结构。结果表明,最佳工艺配方及参数:基材在350 g/L CrO3,200 mL/L 98%H2SO4中于75℃下粗化30 min;再在含15 g/L NiSO4.7H2O,30 g/L NH4Cl,30 g/L NaH2PO2,10 g/L柠檬酸钠,5 mg/L14,-丁炔二醇,pH=9.2的镀液中于32℃下施镀30 min。最优工艺条件下所得镀层为非晶态结构的Ni-P合金层,其中P的质量分数为9.28%;镀层表面均匀光亮,与基体结合牢固,耐蚀性较好。Electroless plating process of Ni-P alloy on the surface of polypropylene(PP)in alkaline bath at medium-low temperature was investigated.The morphology,composition and phase structure of the alloy coating were analyzed by means of scanning electron microscope(SEM),energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and X-ray diffraction(XRD).It was found that bright Ni-P alloy coating with good adhesion to substrate and good corrosion resistance could be prepared on the surface of PP by coarsening in the mixed solution composed of 350 g/L CrO3 and 200 mL/L 98% H2SO4 at 75℃ for 30 min in association with electroless plating in alkaline bath (pH=9.2) composed of 15g/L NiSO4·7H2O,30 g/L NH4Cl,30g/L NaH2PO2,10g/L sodium citrate and 5 mg/L 1,4-butynediol at 32℃ for 30 min.Resultant Ni-P alloy coating had amorphous structure and contained 9.28 % P (mass fraction).
