摘　　要：桂林抗战文化运动始于上世纪三十年代初期,由于相对宽松的政治环境和方便的地理交通条件,桂林聚集了大批全国各地文化名人及民主进步人士。中国共产党积极开展统战工作,把抗战爆发前仅七万余人的桂林建设成为一个文化繁荣、民主进步气氛很浓的文化城,创造了辉煌的抗战文化成果。这场声势浩大的文化运动,激发了民众的爱国热情,为打击日本侵略者作出了贡献。Guilin anti - war cultural campaign began in the early 1930s. Guilin had a relatively loose political climate and convenient transportation, cultural celebrities and democratic progressive people from all parts of the country came here. The communist party carried out united front work actively, they made Guilin become culture city that culture flourishing and full of democracy and progress which before the war only 70,000, turned in a splendid anti - war cultural effort. The gigantic cultural movement inspired the patriotic enthusiasm of the Chinese people and has made a great of contribution for smite the Japanese invaders.
