摘　　要：在ArcGIS的软件应用中,少数的地质符号可以直接从图形符号库中获得,但是大部分复杂的地质符号不能直接得到相应的符号表达。本文论述的是在ArcGIS环境下复杂地质符号的制作,充分利用相关软件的优缺点,发挥各软件的功能与分工作用,进行地图符号库的制作。这种符号化的方法是把符号制作和绘制完全分开。通过相关软件的辅助设计,将一些很难在ArcGIS中显示的地图符号制作出来。In the applications of ArcGIS software,a few of the geological symbols can available from the graphical symbol library,but most of complex geological symbols can＇t be got directly.By making full use of the advantages and disadvantages of the relative software and playing the function of the software,the paper researched the production of complex geological symbols by ArcGIS.By using the aided design of related software,some complicated mineral symbols that can be expressed on ArcGIS are produced.
