摘　　要：本文介绍法国电信公司和阿尔卡特公司开发的多芯单模光纤，重点介绍了４ 芯单模光纤的结构设计、预制棒制造工艺、拉丝技术和光纤特性，也介绍了该新型光纤在ＦＴＴＨ 用途中的技术经济优越性。This paper introduces the multi-core mono-mode fiber developed by France Telecom and Alcatel with emphasis on the 4 -core fiber design , preform process, fiber drawing technologies and fiber properties. The economic and technical advantages of this new fiber in FTTH field also be introduced.
