摘　　要：基于《珠纲要》(2008-2020)提出的把粤港澳建成全球最具有核心竞争力的大都市圈之一的战略背景,通过对都市圈的基本特征和形成条件的阐述,及对世界五大都市圈的发展经验的总结,重点分析了粤港澳都市圈发展的现状和发展中存在的问题,提出粤港澳都市圈发展的主要对策思路。Based on the strategy of building Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao into the world＇s most competitive metropolitan region in ＂Pearl River Delta Development Plan＂ （2008-2020）, this paper discusses the basic features and forming condition of a metropolitan region, summarizes the developing experiences of the world＇s five metropolitan regions, analyzes the present status and problems of developing the metropolitan region of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, and finally proposes the main countermeasures for how to promote the development of the metropolitan region.
