摘 要:设计搭建了电润湿显示单元,并首次将镨锰掺杂铁酸铋(Bi0.86Pr0.14)(Fe0.95Mn0.05)O3(BPFMO)这种典型多铁性材料作为介质层加入到电润湿显示单元中,不仅成功地控制了油滴的收缩和扩张,并且在整个实验过程中漏电流较小,油滴在11 V的电压下就开始收缩,随着外加电压的增强油滴收缩面积逐步加大,在撤去电压后立即回复原状,表现良好的重复性,该实验为铁酸铋等多铁性材料在电润湿方向上的应用提供了初步的探索。The electrowetting display unit has been designed and successfully fabricated with Pr and Mn cosubstituted BiFeO3 as dielectric layer,showing excellent eletrowetting effect.The contraction and expansion of the oil droplet are successfully controlled with a much smaller leakage current.The contraction of the oil droplet occurs at a low voltage of 11 V and contraction area gradually increases along with the enhancement of the applied voltage.The unit shows favorable repeatability since the shrinked oil droplets restitute as soon as the applied voltage was removed.This experiment provides a preliminary exploration for the application of the Multiferroic materials in the electrowetting display.
