摘 要:研究了PbO-PbBr2-PbF2-P2O5系统的玻璃形成能力,并探索出了玻璃形成区。测试了一些玻璃的特征温度、密度和紫外截止波长。实验结果表明PbBr2-PbF2-P2O5系统的玻璃形成能力很强,加入10mol%的PbO可以提高玻璃的密度并降低玻璃转变温度。当P2O5的含量小于40mol%时,玻璃的密度在5.10~5.81g/cm3之间;Tg可降至210℃。PbF2-P2O5二元玻璃的紫外截止波长约为273nm,加入PbBr2使玻璃的紫外截止波长向长波方向移动。Good host material is a prerequisite for making good quality optical glasses. We present new high density and low melting glasses as promising good host materials. We prepared and characterized a series of new glasses in the PbO PbBr 2 PbF 2 P 2O 5 quaternary system. We explored the glass forming regions and studied the stabilities of the glasses against crystallization. We measured densities, characteristic temperatures, and UV/Visible transmittances of the glasses. Results show that the PbBr 2 PbF 2 P 2O 5 ternary system has a broad glass forming region which extends down to 30 mol% P 2O 5. Most of the glasses in this system show strong stabilities against crystallization. For glasses containing 40 mol% of P 2O 5 or less, the density can be up to 5.1 g/cm 3 and the glass transition temperature can be below 250℃. When we introduced 10 mol% PbO into PbBr 2 PbF 2 P 2O 5 system, the glass forming region becomes relatively smaller while the stabilities of the glasses against crystallization are still strong. Glasses in the PbO PbBr 2 PbF 2 P 2O 5 system have densities up to 5.8 g/cm 3 and glass transition temperatures as low as 210℃.
