摘　　要：ArcGIS是一个能够输入、贮存、处理、分析和显示立体数据的计算机系统,它具有强大的图形、图像和数据处理功能,现已广泛地应用在地震资料处理中。细述了ArcGIS在地震专题图制作过程中的作用,并利用现有的圆型或椭圆型地震烈度衰减关系,以ArcGIS为平台采用其扩展功能模拟出地震影响场,使得制作地震专题图显得快捷方便,同时提出了制图中存在的一些问题及解决办法。ArcGIS is a computer system which can import,store,dispose,analyze and display multi-dimensional data.It has powerful graphics and image data processing ability and has been used in earthquake data treating widely.This paper specified the usage of ArcGIS in earthquake thematic mapping.Using the existing circular or elliptic attenuation relationship of seismic intensity,this paper explained the simulating of earthquake affecting field on the ArcGIS platform,and made the progress of mapping much easier.And this paper also put forward some issues in cartography.
