摘　　要：花叶现象在观赏植物中普遍存在, 但它们的含义和控制机理仍存在相当大的混淆。本文旨在综合论述花叶和嵌合体这两种花叶类型产生的原因, 并对一些难以解释的花叶模式进行介绍, 解释其产生原因,同时对花叶和嵌合体植物的品种名、命名原则及花叶变绿的栽培原因作了简述。Variegation and chimerism generally lie in ornamental plants, but there remains considerable confusion in the meaning of these terms and the controlling mechanism. This article make a review on the mechanism of variegation and chimerism ,and introduce some unusual cases where variegations patterns are difficult to interpret.Discussion of the cultivar designation and nomenclature in variegated and chimeral plants and explaination of the reasons why the variagation leaves turn green are also made.
