摘　　要：在人文思想史上"象征"是一个极重要的词,它往往指具有表达精神对象功能的具体形象物。运用"象征"描述的手段和跨文化比较方法,对中国、日本、印度、美国、西班牙等5个国家有代表性的传统体育项目进行分析,可以加深文化象征与不同国家的核心价值观、处世态度和行为举止如何联系的理解,从而更好地认识中、西方体育文化之间的异同。Symbol is a very important word in the humanity history, which often refers to specific image with expression of the spirit. This article used symbol description method and cross-culture comparison method to analyze representative traditional sports of China, Japan, India, the United States, and Spain. The analysis can enhance our understanding of how culture symbol connect with different countries core value, attitudes and behavior, and better recognize the difference in sport culture between China and Western.
