摘　　要：榉树是国家二级保护树种,人工大面积栽培在国内尚未见报道。实践证明,榉树人工造林后生长良好。1年生苗高平均可在1m以上,最高达175m,10年生树,年平均高生长078m,胸径072cm,优于同等条件下的马尾松,次于杉树,是优良的速生硬阔叶树种。人工林50年可达工艺成熟,每亩年平均利润约7000元,宜种子繁殖。Zelkova schneideriana is the second class of state-protected species.Till to now,large scale plantation of this species has not been reported.However,the planted trees grew well:the average height of one-year seedling was over 1 meter and the highest was up to 1 75 meter,And the annual growth in high was 0 78m,diameter at chest height was 0 72cm of the 10-year-old trees.The growth rate is higher than the masson pine and lower than the china fir.Zelkova is a fast growing and high quality broad-leaved hard wood species.It can be reproduced by seeds.50 years after planted,it can be harvested for the architecture,and the annual income from the harvest is about 7000 yuan(RMB)/mu.
