摘　　要：骨质疏松症和椎间盘退变性疾病均为骨退行性疾病,临床上两者常可并见于同一病例,二者可能存在相似的发病机制,但骨质疏松和椎间盘退变的内在联系目前没有明确论述。本文就骨质疏松和椎间盘退变两方面的相关性从:骨质疏松对椎间盘营养的影响、炎性因子在椎间盘退变性疾病和骨质疏松症中的作用、雌激素对骨质疏松和椎间盘退变的影响、破骨细胞/破软骨细胞对骨质疏松和椎间盘退变的影响、OPG对骨质疏松和椎间盘的保护作用等几方面做一探讨。最后得出:骨质疏松和椎间盘退变存在一定的相关性和相似的发病机制,骨质疏松这一病理因素可能参与了椎间盘退变的病理进程,从而推测骨质疏松会引起或加速椎间盘的退变。Osteoporosis （OP） and intervertebral disc degeneration （IDD） are degenerative bone diseases and probably have a similar pathogenesis, which can be found in the same patient. However, there is no clear demonstration on the internal relationship between OP and IDD. This review explores the relationship between OP and IDD from several aspects, including the effect of osteoporosis on the nutrition of intervertebral discs, the role of inflammatory factors in OP and IDD, the impact of estrogen on OP and IDD, the role of s osteoclasts/chondroclasts on IDD and OP, the preventive effect of OPG on OP and IDD. We conclude that there is significant association between OP and IDD and they have a similar pathogenesis. We speculate that OP can cause or accelerate the process of IDD.
